Pierce Manufacturing announced Oct. 29 that authorized dealer MacQueen has opened a new service center in Bismarck, at 5016 Platoon Ave., Unit 2, according to the company’s announcement. Pierce said the facility is now open and expands support for fire departments and emergency response agencies across the region.
The center offers maintenance and repairs, warranty support, advanced diagnostics and local parts availability for Pierce fire apparatus, the announcement said. MacQueen’s mobile technicians will continue traveling throughout the region to provide on-site service when needed, according to Pierce.
The Bismarck location is MacQueen’s 25th, Pierce said. The facility will also provide service, parts and technical support for Oshkosh Corporation’s McNeilus refuse and recycling vehicles, according to the announcement.
Mike Purdy II, MacQueen’s president and CEO, said in the announcement that establishing a permanent presence in North Dakota will expand the company’s ability to provide service, parts support and technical expertise to its customers.
