Background

Axtman is the sitting State Senator for District 7 and is running for reelection in the November 3, 2026 general election. A Bismarck native and Century High School graduate, she served 12 years as an active-duty U.S. Air Force pilot and continues as a Major in the Air Force Reserve; she was elected to the Senate in 2022.
